Planning to purchase the package when I pick up the vehicle. Dealer wants to changrge $850.00 for 5 years. I will have the 20" wheels with the bridgestone dueller tires which runs around $230 each. Anybody else purchased the road hazard package at a lower price? I not sure if it's negotiable but I'm still going to try when I meet with the financing manager!

I got it for $584. Initially was quoted $650 on the paper but the Finance Manager was nice to lower it down. He showed me his actual cost was around $440 and told me that he would sell it to me $100 profit at $540. I had to be pay the taxes. I think it's worth it since you are getting the 20" wheels. The plan will cover both wheels/rims and tires - unlimited miles for 5 years.

Everything is negotiable including documentation fees (except taxes, title/registration fees).

It's $0 deductible. Mine is called R.O.A.D. InTire from IAS.

The price was with the Gold option that includes:
1. Alloy wheel cosmetic repair (no replacement)
2. $100 emergency roadside towing
3. Up to $35 per day in rental car expense

Have you had rim problems in the past? $850 seems a bit expensive unless you go through rims fairly frequently.
