I'd have to say getting what you want. At this price, you should get the exact options and color you want (especially if you are buying). I checked out a Highlander Hybrid, and I got . . . No discount, all Toyota offers don't count, you need to be flexible on color, you need to be flexible on timing, you need to be flexible on options. All that for a $7,000 hybrid upcharge?
As for waiting, I don't think pricing the JX will get much more flexible until Acura updates the MDX, Volvo updates the XC90 and Mercedes is out with their new GL. Just no valid competition at this point.
