Whats new in 2014?

Don't you mean 2013? I have been looking for new 2013 model features, enhancements and bug fixes but can't seem to find anything, and im good at that! Once something pops up I'll post it here.

Maybe we can discuss things that we would like on the 2013 model and bug to be fixed? I know some car makers go on forums to read what people say.

I can't see them making too many changes, but know that all known issues will be addressed. There is so much technology on the JX that I can't see what else they could put on it other than daytime running lights. It would be interest to see if they put the same transmission in that will be putting in the Pathfinder.

I agree. The JX already offers so much. I can see Infiniti doing a bunch of minor updates to the JX, using whats already there. But typically, 2nd year model cars don't see a lot of changes, maybe more down the road we'll see more noticeable changes.

agreed.. How about the ability to scroll through/tune up & down through XM stations, without having to reach across to the passenger side of the center console??? The steering wheel control jumps through presets and categories......

Iphone integration....

I wish there were a simple voice command to grant passthrough access to the siri on my phone or internal phone commands on other phones for that matter. I have a GM with a bluetooth/onstar box and can simply use voice commands to get to the phone's voice commands. Maybe I'm missing something but would love to have this feature without having to reach for the phone.

There won't be anything new for 2014 except a new paint color. This is how manufacturers make their investments back, minimize changes until mid-model refresh. This won't occur till 2016.

I agree with yeller.... Lexus does the same thing. VERY minor adjustments and bump the MSRP a bit. Take the Lexus GX470: The 2003 original design had many TSB's, most of them were not fixed until 2007!

If they are like Mercedes and BMW, a BMW salesperson told me that they make major modifications every 7 years. Owning several Nissans, they seem to make minor changes over a period of years. When Toyotas and GM cars were being made in the Fremont, CA plant it used to take them a very short time to convert the assembly line for the following year, making subtle changes to the next years model.

One thing I can see in the future during the generation of this JX, is a wireless charging pad for smartphones. Should be available on a higher trim or even in a tech package, or on it's own.

I don't think this technology as been standardized, meaning there are competing technologies. I hope one wins out so manufacturers can install this.

Is the 2014 not supposed to get the new cvt that the new pathfinder is getting
