Was told that my JX will be available by the end of the month. Would like to know if there is anything to look for specially before you buy. Other then the rounting walk around, is there anyhting particular needs to be noted, how many set of keys? Manual? any particular?

Thanks.

So I guess you just want to make sure everything is in order before you actually drive away with it right? Well, Just simply start with a exterior visual inspection of door dings, paint chips. All of the new vehicles being transported around usually have a vinyl protection coating, make sure all of the adhesive has been removed. Open the hood and check for any leaks usually shouldnt have any because its new. look at the interior for any imperfections, locate the manuals and warranty information. Double check for your lock nut key along with the duplicate card with a serial. and last, take it for a test drive around the block before you start heading home, just in case.

Make sure they turn on the tele-metrics unit (cellular unit for car). Allows you to use the SOS button and to sync from infiniti connection on line to car navigation. My dealer forgot to and had to bring car back to turn on.

The only way you will know its an AWD (unless you crawl under) is on the spec sheet.
Make sure all your options are included. Mine was not.

There were scratches on the dash when they cut the plastic. So check for those.

Make sure you have the remote and headphones if you have the theater package.

I usually just take the serial cards out and keep it at home in file. Its not fun when you lose these, having to pay $80 to have wheel locks removed is not fun. Dont ask me how i know.

sounds like someone has been there!
lol but yeah keep the wheel lock serial with your ownership or somewhere where you wont loose it, replacing them is a HUGE pain in the ass

Here is the consolidated list, please post if I missed anything:

Get serial cards if you have locking hubs
Check body part alignment, especially the back door
Check fluids, make sure oil/trans is at right levels
Check for dash scratches
Ensure transportation plastic has been removed from throughout interior and exterior
Verify rear axle (for AWD models)
Verify all packages are installed - have dealer walk you through each feature
Drive around the block to ensure nothing breaks
During drive verify dash doesn't rattle
During drive listen for "whoosh" noises from rear (from another post)
Ensure manuals are available (you should get a user manual, nav manual, and maintenance manual)
Check mileage to verify car wasn't a dealer loaner or manager joy ride
Check for exterior scratches
Check headlights/brake lights
If you get extended warranty or maintenance, get documentation of the specific coverages
Verify 2 wireless headphones (for theater packages)
Verify two keys
Check the Infiniti connection by pushing the SOS button. Dealer has to turn on telematics
Check for cut marks on the center of the steering wheel... probably caused when someone cut open the wraps
Check for slightly opened back cover of driver side mirror

It's usually not that common for OEM rims to be stolen. I never really purchase the wheel locks for factory wheels.
Maybe I am wrong on this one but my thought on buying the wheel locks was not for the rims but rather the tires? Doesn't the wheel locks keep your tires from being stolen too? I was thinking since some of the sensors are in the tires it could be very expensive if they were stolen. Correct me of I am wrong....
