First post here and I'm already asking for help...

... I'm creating a blog post (and YouTube video) about my favorite new car - of course the JX.

And I'm creating a Top 10 list.

Can you help me with this... can you post perhaps your top favorite gizmos, benefits or advantages of the Infiniti JX?

Most useful tech on the car so far is 360 view around the car on the nav screen when you are trying to park. Just push the camera button as you are parking.

Yes, for sure. It sounds awesome, indeed.

I'm curious about the Backup Collision Intervention system. That's the big #1 benefit for me, yet most of the reviews I've seen about it sort of gloss over it. I've yet to see any YouTube videos really showing this in action (which is surprising to me). Even the salesman at the dealership was reluctant to show this off to my family...

... Yet when I scanned the grocery-store parking lot an hour ago, a bunch of cars had those "backup dents". I'd bet this is a big selling point for anyone (no matter what car one drives).

So, is the BCI hype, or does it work well?

And of course, I need 9 more awesome things to add to my list. Please reply.

We have the BCI, but I haven't actively tried to hit anything yet. Maybe we can try with some garbage cans as some others have, but the thought of possibly getting some scratches on our bumper paint even before we have a license plate is keeping me from doing so. The car does beep at me when I get close to the garage door frame as I back out. I think it beeps when it's about 12 inch and we have about 8 inch clearance as we back out.

We have tow package, so I could buy a 24 inch hitch step to put there to keep other cars from damaging mine. Looks like a running board across the back.

#2 for me is Intelligent Cruise Control. I set it for the shortest distance and it kept me at about 3 car lengths back at highway speeds. When I pulled off the exit, it slowed the car down in response to the car ahead and came to a complete stop without touching the brakes at the bottom of the ramp as the other car stopped. Scared my wife as I proclaimed my NOT using the brakes as we were on the exit ramp, but I felt safe as it was slowing appropriately.

#3 is the awesome leg room in the 3rd row. Pull the 2nd row up about 4 inches and I was perfectly comfortable back there.

Thre are a few videos available, even on this site. People won't test it due to the potnetial damage to teh car. But everyone will use it when the occasion comes.

Ipod controls work great. Love the little touches like the LED lights built into door handles that come on when you approach.

Is the JX the first vehicle with this backup intervention system? I know most cars have backup sensors but do they stop for emergencies?

The ease of getting into and out of the thrid row, ipod integration, the personal assistant, intelligent view display, intelligent cruise control!

Infinti is usually good for that but i would never sit in the 3rd row i still find it a pain in the ass!

To me the most interesting and beneficial function is the backup intervention system.

The BCI function is absolutely fantastic! If you guys go to the dealer or have a friend that has one, make sure you try it out and see for yourself. No more backing up to the kids bike on the driveway yes!

BCI function i what i consider "insurance" the JX being so big the chance of accidentally hitting someone or something is high, with BCI those problems should be reduced greatly.

Standard keyless entry and door lock and engine button start/stop is my favorite!

Since we'll be taking some long road trips, I'd have to say the ICC is the most useful thing for me, and it works like a charm, even in heavy traffic.
