On page 2-32 of the manual There is a feature called the "Lane Change signal". My understanding of this feature is that you move the turn signal switch a little bit and the turn signal lights flash a few times and turn off automatically. This is great for lane changes. Whatever I do I am not able to activate it. The indicator seems to just come on go away immediately if I don't fully engage it. Is there some setting that needs to be turned on to enable it? I am not able to figure out how to use it. Anybody use this?

You're suppose to be holding the switch a bit while switching your lane. It's not like the BMW or Mercedes system where the indicator flashes about three times when you flicker the turn signal.

My previous car was a BMW X5 and loved the lane change signal and was expecting the same here.

Thanks for your response. I am going to give that a try, but I have a feeling that I am not going to like it much and will just engage the signal fully.

But the JX WILL BEEP to remind you that you are changing lanes without using your signal at all! ;)

Hi all, here is my modest comment from Montevideo, Uruguay: This option is probably deactivated in your cars onboard computer. I have a Kia Sorento whichs lane change indicator was disabled, but was then enabled via the scanner of my Kia dealer. Maybe you can give a try visiting them. Good Luck! Niels
