Hi all,

Excited about picking up a new JX3 tomorrow. I had a few questions though -

- Is there anything different that needs to be done in the break-in period? The manual says don't drive at the same speed for a "long" time. How long is long? The dealer said that there's nothing special that needs to be done as there's some kind of engine additive they add that takes care of break-in. Who is correct?

- The dealer told me that there was a mid year change in the transmission for the 2013 JX to make it able to tow 5K lbs. He told me I was getting one of these cars - is this information accurate?

We were talking about that in the 2014 QX thread. There clearly seems to have been at least some change mid year as my April JX is the same as the QX design. However, is it the the PF CVT or just some upgrades to the original JX transmission? That has yet to be resolved by forum members as of today.
