I've seen tons and tons of videos of on-road, but nothing off-road. Nor have I seen any reviews of the JX in the snow or ice. Are you guys aware of any? Just curious how the AWD model stacks up to the competition. I know this is a tough thing to answer this time of year, but still, i know this is a relevant concern for some buyers!

Any articles, links, personal feedback is appreciated!

Thanks for the feedback guys! So with regards to safety, what exactly are the advantages? I'm almost convinced that the AWD isn't even worth it. For the guys that did purchase AWD, can you tell us why you went that route?

The AWD model will have better traction than the FWD model in the snow. Apart from bad weather I don't know why you would choose the AWD over the FWD. If you are always on dirt roads that could be another reason. The JX isn't going to be very good for off-road.

The JX AWD will kick in only when it detects front wheel slip, may get you out of trouble, or quicker. But it is transparant in that you can't turn it on as a precuation. It is a dumb system, but may be useful when needed.
