I have read all the recent test drive reviews on JX and most say its performance is slow and no fun and the steering feel is vague and handling is not on par to most other SUV.
I had been driving my X5 V8 for 5 years and now I got a new JX, and seriously even though JX is indeed not comparable to X5's steering weight and feel and JX's suspension is not as stiff, but I don't feel the JX is that much worse in performance and drive-ability. I feel JX's acceleration and steering are quite acceptable to me and still make me happy. It's not as bad as most reviews say... perhaps they assume so just base on the numbers on paper
