Hey all, been trying to change the turn signals on my new QX60 to LED ones without much success. I've tried all sorts of LED bulbs - including so called 'error-free' ones and all of them hyper-flash.

I've also checked the schematics and wiring diagrams from the factory service manual and even though it says the turn signals are controlled directly by the BCM, there is definitely a clicking sound coming from the driver side fuse/relay box beside the battery.

Anybody have any idea why that is?
Trying to avoid using resistors unless there's absolutely no other way.

I'm not aware of any other way besides adding the resistor. When I added em' to my Volt the resistor was what was needed to make em' flash normal speed.

Yeah, found out what was making the clicking noise. There's another fuse/relay box hidden in the fender beside the main one I was looking at.
The smaller one contains two relays for making the turn signals on the tow adapter flash.

So, short of being able to code the BCM, it looks like resistors are the only way to get LED turn signals on our vehicles.
