We wanted maple with the wheat and love the way it looks with the emerald graphite.

Before buying, n all the pictures I saw i thought i would want the maple, but my wife talked me in the Washi. It actually looks pretty good with the graphite interior.

^Must agree, Graphite and Kasane Washi complements each other very well.

Wouldn't that make the interior too dark? Under the brutal Texas sun, that will not be nice!

Infiniti must have checked out this thread. They just changed the maple from a free selection if you have premium to a $400 option (!!!). It doesn't show on their website yet (typically lagging reality a bit), but does on Edmunds.

Your signature says "pending order/delivery". So are you still waiting? Is your price going up, or are you locked in? Does Infiniti raise the prices to dealers on orders already placed?

I am price locked. The price increase was effective on new orders effective yesterday evening.

Wait....what? They're changing the prices of the packages mid-year? That's a crappy thing to do. Are the folks who ordered at least safe from this?

It seems they did something like this for the QX when it got released. They raised the Invoice price after a few months.
But then the guys who waited should be getting better discounts.

Correction: Price change is effective today at noon.

If you already pre-ordered prior to the effective time, you are locked in as Infiniti will honor it.

Base +$500
Packages +est. 1.1% (Basically expect either, Base (2WD/AWD), Base + Premium, or Base + every Package available.)
Mandatory accessories...rear bumper protector, illuminated kick panels, and a few other small stuff

Trust me, I know all about crappy like everyone else on this forum...my order request had to be changed around. Not even sure if I want the JX anymore if I have to get everything...dont really need it all.

PS. This is an Infiniti change...not your dealer so dont go off on them since they have no control.
