The Japanese luxury automaker is gearing up to appeal to younger buyers with its compact Q30, which is believed to be built on Mercedes-Benz’s new MFA modular front-wheel drive platform. The architecture currently underpins the A Class and CLA Class, which would both be rivals to the Infiniti Q30 in the market place.

As for appealing to younger customers, Infiniti has expressed it is “confident this merging of the dynamic design and sportiness of a coupe, the roominess of a hatch and the higher stance of a crossover will resonate with these customers.”
Complete details on the Q30 concept are still under wraps until it rolls out onto the show floor in Frankfurt, but it’s clear that Infiniti is progressing forward with rounding out its model lineup that took on a new nomenclature this year.
