Infiniti JX reliability - better information
I wanted more up-to-date car reliability information that made the differences between cars clearer. So a few years ago I started getting people together to make this possible. TrueDelta now updates actual repair frequencies, not just dots, four times a year, to provide initial stats on new models sooner then track cars closely as they age.
We've been providing reliability stats for many Infiniti models for years now. I'd love to do the same for the JX, just a matter of how soon enough owners get involved.
Participants simply report repairs the month after they occur on a one-page survey. When there are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, following the end of each quarter.
To encourage participation, participants receive full access to all results, not just those for the JX, for free. I'll share results for the JX in this thread after each update.

Thanks, for new models we can have useful results four to six months after they launch. Might have some for the 2013 Mazda CX-5 with the August update.interesting stuff. Such stats would of course only reflect initial reliability. To find out how a car fares after the warranty ends, we've got to wait until the warranty ends on at least a few dozen of them.
We might have enough data for an initial stat in the February update, but it's going to be close. Even a few more JXs would be very helpful.

I hope more car owners register for this site. I'm finding the information very interesting and like seeing what regions are experiencing issues. Even though its a snap shot of vehicle issues, I'm still encouraged with how well the vehicles are preforming.
