Looking at buying shortly, but have a concern about the large moonroof in the back building up to much heat in the car. It only has a fabric shade and I live in the desert and am thinking if I order it I will be creating an oven in the summer. any thought would be appreciated.

Maybe you can look in to tinting the moonroof with either the darkest tint like 5% or a mirror/chrome tint to reflect the heat.

^ good advice. The tint should help. Also don't buy a black car. And get the remote starter so you can have the AC on and working by the time you get in the car.

Just get a sliver car.. but its ugly as hell!


Or jsut get a white car, with some heavy UV reflective tints!

They are usually very dark when they are tinted. Not much sunlight gets in.

I'm sure the factory tint is something around 10%. Add 5% to the existing tint and it will be nice and dark.

I'm doing this to the rear-windows (everything behind the driver/passenger). I haven't thought about the big moon-window, however it's something to consider.
