Have any of you ever used a device that fits over a tire to help you get to the top of the car? I'm planning on purchasing a Thule or Yakima and with the height of the vehicle, I think it would be a good idea to get some kind of a folding step that can be stored in the car. I've seen reviews for several products sold on Amazon (which had bad reviews), but this one looked good. I just couldn't tell if it would fit the 20" wheels. If anyone has any suggestions please fee free to post them.

Like JXFan, I typically use door frame or top of tire but I really like the Thule step. The door frame or top of tire don't give much flexibility to move around and I feel unstable.

The Thule has a nice fold design and carrying bag.

Seen it before, but never personally use. I might pick this up...will make it easy when putting stuff on the cross bars.
