We're in the middle of renovating a small half bathroom and it has become the project that will never end. In the big box is a 36-inch wood vanity. In the smaller, much heavier box is the vanity's marble top and sink.

Will they fit in our long-term Infiniti JX35?

Wow! That's a big box. Never would have attempted that myself.

happened to me once in a 2009 maxima, did not realize the backseats did not fold down! had to bring the toilet back inside to get a refund because it did not fit in the trunk. terrible night...

It might not have seemed "AMAZING" if the box was not kept upright by the tiny JX butt.

Some good press there...nice to see others enjoying the capabilities of the JX. As said in one of the comments, not many (no?) vehicles in the luxury class of the JX could have done that.

This is the whole reason for the JX existing. Can you do this with an FX? Nope..

Can you do this with the QX? Yep. Do you want to buy a QX? Nope. LOL

Thats pretty impressive most I've had in mine has been 2 suitcases and a stroller.

Yeah, but those are just boxes. When we were building our house, I was always going to Home Depot in our Volvo XC70 Cross Country crossover (wagon), arguably more luxury than the JX. BUT, the XC70 has real roof rails that can do real hauling. Ours has Yakima cross bars spaced 48" apart, with either bike or ski attachments, depending the season. When I would get 12' studs, or 10' conduits, I would lash them to the cross bars and drive home. No chance, no way with the mickey-mouse plastic bump rails on the JX, even it they do have the cosmetic too-closely-spaced cross bars attached.

Infiniti missed on that.

Have to agree on that one. I'll be pointing it out in non-glossy terms next time I see one of the engineers.

Going to have to wait for a good aftermarket roof rack for the JX.
