It does have it and it works great. You apply the brakes firmly when stopped on the hill. It holds the brakes for about two seconds, just enough to get you moving forward without slipping back. I found out by test driving the car on a steep hill in Tacoma. Our salesman didn't even know it had it. It is listed in the owner's manual. There were several features that Infiniti missed when they first advertised the vehicle. The JX has just about every bell and whistle that you can think of other than the towing capacity of the new Pathfinder.
