I may be wrong, but I think the engine/transmission are made in Japan.

The motors should still be made in japan,just most of the exterior parts are made in America if i recall those infiniti motors are still just Nissan motors.. lol

Don't be so sure about the engine. Nissan is building an engine plant right next to the plant making the JX in TN , and calling it to "expand the capacity of engines production". That means it already produce engine there.
