Can you type in a specific place like Burger King into the nav?

I am not finding if this is possible...if I am looking for Burger King that is 20 miles away or less, I don't want to have to take all the stupid steps to seek it out in the nav- places, restaurants, etc. Is there a place in there I can just type BK?

Use Infiniti Connection / Infiniti Personal Assistant and then have them download it to your nav.

Or make healthier food choices ;)
what else can they download into my nav?

meh, BK has a veggie burger!!!
Select restaurants, then type "burger King". I have to click sort by distance to ensure closest moves to the top.

I wish voice navigation was flexible enough to understand "find closest burger king" like my $200 phone.
I was amazed to find that local businesses were not stored as a database in the car. Granted this can get dated. But every car out there has it. My guess is that they want us to buy the Infiniti Connection to use it when it finally gets expired. Or maybe in a few years they won't offer than function for free or as a trial.
I find the search on the phone easier and typing in the address into the nav.
Its amazing how they can charge 1000s for featureless systems that they want to charge again for. Sometimes I feel a car with an ipad dock and a data plan might be a better deal than these entertainment systems these idiots bolt on.

this... I heard the some cars are going to integrate Siri on the iPhone into the navigation in the car.

This has always been the argument. $1,500 for monitors or $500 iPad. $1,000 nav or $200 voice Tom Tom. Most of the personal electronics are more advanced than the car. In the end I bought both because of the integration. Doesn't make sense.

Per your comment, there are too many POI's for a single DVD. I wish there was some sort of Internet sync for your local area that had everything Google had. They may need a larger HD, but worth the price.
