Average MPG in Vehicle Information Display
The average mpg number in the the Vehicle Information Display seems to show you the all-time average. I have seen other vehicles give you the option of choosing between tank average, all-time average, and just a real-time number.
I know you can reset the mpg history in from the "Info" menu, but that doesn't seem to reset the number in the Vehicle Information Display.

The average in the info display is for the trip computer for each trip, you can reset it for each trip by press and hole the "info" button (the top one on the left of the wheel). The on ein the center information if unrelated to the trip computer and you can set tank by tank, or month by month.
How do you do this? Through the "Info" button, too?

You use the same button (top on left steering wheel I think) as you use to toggle to the various displays. Go to the trip info display which shows mileage, elasped time, etc., and hold it in until all fields zero out. I couldn't find this in the owners manual either.
