Newbie question here...Is it possible to play a DVD and have the audio played through the veh's speaker? I have 1.5 year old which is too young for the wireless headsets but sometimes during road trips showing him movie will help.

Yes you can have the DVD audio play right out of the speakers; you just won't be able to watch the DVD unless the vehicles parking brakes are applied.

Rear headrest screens can play video while driving. The front navi screen requires parking brake applied to show video.
