Hello again.....just testing some features tonight, although it is 80 degrees here, we want to make sure everything works when our Warranty wears out in 8 months...I tried the Heated Wheel for about 15 minutes tonight and it BARELY got warm, and only in one spot.....the car was idling in park, but this never mattered on our 2007 Maxima...that wheel gets downright HOT, but feels great in the winter....ideas?? Or Service visit it is?
Thanks!

If I recall, it is designed to warm up at temperatures below 68 degrees. I'd have to lookout up in the owner's manual. I had the same concern when I first got the car and read a thread on this forum. I use it all the time in the cold weather and it works just fine.

Found it and I was correct. Here is the information from the Owner's Manual:

The heated steering wheel system is designed to
operate only when the surface temperature of the
steering wheel is below approximately 68°F
(20°C).
Push the heated steering wheel switch to warm
the steering wheel after the engine starts. The
indicator light will come on.
If the surface temperature of the steering wheel is
below 68°F (20°C), the system will heat the
steering wheel to approximately 86°F (30°C),
then turn off automatically.
Push the switch again to turn the heated steering
wheel off manually. The indicator light will go off.
